Introducing FACTORY’s Community Manager
At Proximity, we love coworking because it means people get to work every day surrounded by community – in coworking no one works alone. And we love our company because it means we get to work every day with our team in community. We’ve got some pretty amazing, creative, innovative, and downright cool people here at Proximity and we are grateful that we get to do what we love every day with them, together. Today we’re excited to introduce our newest teammate, FACTORY’s Community Manager, Julia Sundstrom.
Julia is a proud CMU alumni, community dreamer, Instagram fanatic, communicator, photographer, and a people person. She believes community happens in the moment through shared experiences from the collaborative spirit of coworking, connecting over a cup of coffee, bending over backward for each other or always being willing to listen. Julia love’s the vibrant community of dreamers and entrepreneurs. Her favorite part about Proximity is how everyone deeply cares about each individual, lives by the motto ‘work hard and play harder,’ and plans to change the workforce ecosystem. Julia recently graduated from Colorado Mesa University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Strategies & Applications and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. Throughout her school career, Julia participated on student-lead newspapers at Grand Junction High School and CMU. During college, Julia volunteered as a YoungLife leader by mentoring middle school girls and worked as a barista for Kiln Coffee Bar. Julia is a lover of sunshine, flower arrangements, coffee, photography, spontaneous adventures, wine, art history, starry nights, tacos, listening to records and an eye for good design. Julia’s spirit animal is a golden retriever. Come on down, and find out why.
