Grand Junction Film Festival

Call for proposals, Collaboration, Community, Creativity, Film, Film Festival, Grand Junction

“We have set out to start a film festival here in Grand Junction to bring together the community to celebrate and showcase local artistry and creativity in film.
The festival will be held on May 5, 2017 at 7:00pm located at 750 Main Street. We will start the evening with local films and end the event with a screening of the 2008 film GRAND JUNCTION, written and directed by Freddy F. Hakimi.
We would like to invite you to submit any film(s) you would like to have shown at the festival (this also includes animations). The event will be informal and so we are also inviting any who submit a film to briefly talk about their work after it is shown, if they would like to. There is no submission fee, and please feel free to submit more than one film. All we ask is that the content not be over a PG-13 rating.
If you would like to submit, please email Marcie at
Thank you so much! We hope to see you and celebrate with an evening of local film.”

Events, News and updates

We are thrilled to announce Factory’s Grand Opening on Friday, February 24th.  When we officially open the doors on Grand Junction’s only coworking space, you’ll find a warm, collaborative community, a bright and pleasant place to work, and, most importantly for some of you, 1gig internet speed.  We’re actually open now – we’ve worked out the kinks – so if you’re already interested, come down to 750 Main St (the entrance is on the 8th St side) and check out Factory.  If you want to wait until the Grand Opening, we’ll see you then!
